All Hail Kale is here to tell you what wellness works - and what’s just nonsense.
What's best for your mind, body, diet and mood - all served with heaps of expertise and a sprinkling of wit (and no ropey advice about jade eggs).
All Hail Kale was launched by award-winning BBC and National Geographic documentary-maker, author and broadcaster Tim Samuels. Tim has won three Royal Television Society awards, best documentary at the World Television Festival, and along the way turned a group of lonely old people into the the world’s oldest rock group The Zimmers.
Podcast and beyond
All Hail Kale runs as a hit BBC podcast - now in its second series. Covering everything from whether dairy is scary and the gut-mental health link, to narcissism and the healthiest way to survive the apocalypse. The show has interviewed dozens of Harvard professors - as well as Deepak Chopra, Gretchen Rubin and Tony Robbins.
- ‘The best new BBC podcast’ - Evening Standard,
- 'Terrific and witty' - Gretchen Rubin
- ‘Entertaining witty production and proper science make this a great listen” - The Observer
- ‘This pod had me thoroughly entertained from the get go. A mix of science, investigative journalism, myth busting and good old fashion skepticism. Samuels himself is a key reason I listen in’ - Stuff (New Zealand’s biggest news site)
- ‘Humorous and analytical, as he tried to separate the nonsense from good, clean living’ - Grazia
The show has featured across the media - including GQ, BBC online, Balance, Eluxe, Dairy Mirror and Express.
All Hail Kale is now also putting out a Wellness Shot newsletter every week - packed with more video and content.
Do get it touch - we’d love to hear from you.
